Hannah May is the Lead Art Educator at Winrock International's Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub--a 20,000 sq ft non-profit makerspace where she manages education programs, staff, and art studios. Hannah previously worked as a independent contract ceramics instructor at a number of non-profit and for profit art spaces in Arkansas. Originally from Mountain View, Arkansas, Hannah attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as a Donaghey Scholar in 2007 and received an undergraduate degree in Studio Art, emphasizing ceramics. She and her partner, Logan Hunter have their home and studio outside Little Rock city limits.
Born in Chadron, Nebraska. Logan's pottery is stamped and decorated with drawn patterns that explore different techniques in mark making on clay. The imagery is inspired by his memories on his grandparents farm in McCook, Nebraksa and his childhood moving to different cities and states. He received a BA in Studio Art in 2012 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, with an emphasis in drawing. Logan has taught ceramics and figure drawing since 2012.
